Many years ago, when we first came to Turkey we fell in love with the beautiful scenery, the fascinating historical sites, good food and the warmth of the Turkish people.
In 2002 we realised a dream when we bought an old, stone, traditional village house in Üzümlü, a village 500 metres above sea level, close to Fethiye on the South West coast of Turkey.
A lot of hard work, vision, persistence and passion transformed the semi derelict building and neglected land into the stunning house and garden which today we are proud to call our home.
We choose to share our home each year with a small number of people who want to experience a very special Turkish holiday.

It's not always easy to tell people what something is really like so first of all we encourage you to close your eyes and imagine ...
- You are sitting in the garden, feeling the warmth of the sun on your skin, hearing the birds and the gentle sound of water as it flows over the edge of the pool.
- Look across the blue water to the mountains or, watch the dragon fly hover over the flowers.
- Smell the fresh air and the scent of the garden.
- Taste the freshly picked grapes, olives, figs or any other of the locally grown fruits and sip a glass of wine.
Perhaps now you may understand why we call this place "Tranquil Garden".
